Enjoy A Lovely Holiday Staying At A Top Luxury Hotel in Medina in Saudi Arabia

We decided to visit the beautiful city of Medina for a break in Saudi Arabia for a business and family trip this year. My wife and two teenage children wanted to reside at a luxury residence at the centre of the city and we found there were plenty of lavish hotels in Medina that were just the right fit. I travel around quite a lot for business so am used to finding the correct destination that will benefit my work. Taking the family along with me however was a different scenario so we tried to find somewhere that everyone would appreciate as a great holiday destination.

The Shaza Al Madina hotel is a fabulous five-star accommodation at the heart of the city of Medina. I was confident of its great staff service and luxury as its part of the Shaza Hotels group, which has an excellent reputation. The residence has a traditional look to it but offers modern rooms and suites. The lodgings are genuinely ideal for families and large groups visiting the city for whatever purpose. There were many other working travellers that I came across who highly praised this hotel for its wonderful business services. The luxury suite had a modern Eastern décor and many amenities such as an LCD television and complimentary Wi-Fi.

There was also a large lounge, kitchen and gorgeous en-suite bathroom with luxury toiletries and hairdryer. The lavishness of the residence is definitely apparent throughout the building, but it’s clearly felt at the Shaza Diwan. This is an exclusive enclave for the hotel’s VIP guests where a complimentary buffet breakfast and superb snack menu is offered 24 hours a day. As a business tourist I was very pleased with the two meeting rooms available for seminars and conferences. I held a training day with a small set of colleagues and was happy with the staff who ran the event successfully offering a lovely range of food and beverages for the workers.

I did get a few days off to spend with my wife and children and I have say that the residence is outstanding for holiday-makers. There is a luxury spa and wellness centre that offers excellent therapies inspired by traditional Unani Tibb treatments where professionals use natural organic products. There are plenty of dining options including Arabesque that offers delicious food such as shawarmas, grilled kebabs and mouth-watering desserts such as Syrian teppanyaki ice cream. It has an open kitchen that allows visitors to watch live cooking, which was very entertaining for my teenage children. The hotel also has Shalimar that’s perfect for a light lunch and we particularly enjoyed it for its tasty tea and excellent rose mocktails.

Medina is a beautiful place for a holiday and is an important religious area for Islamic pilgrimage. During the vacation there were many religious destinations that we visited. We went to the amazing Al-Masjid al-Nabawī, which is a large mosque that’s considered an important Islamic site. We also took a trip to the famous Quba Mosque and the children marvelled at this building’s beautiful architecture that includes white domes and a courtyard filled with black, white and red marble. Prince Mohammad Bin Abdulaziz Airport is very close to the residence making it very easy to travel around. This hotel is ideal for both business and pleasure.
