Edgware Road Tube Station

Edgware Road Tube Station is a London Underground Station located on the corner of Chapel Street and Cabbell Street. It is on the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines in Travel card zone 1. Just 150 meters away on the opposite side of Marylebone Road, you can find another station of the same name but this station is on the Baker loo line. Moreover, there is a separate Edgware tube station on the Northern Line. The Edgware Road station is situated in a cutting open to the atmosphere and not in a tunnel. The building of Edgware Road Station (Circle Line) is at the crossing of two streets and its entrance is at the meeting point. It serves the cut-and-cover routes of the Hammersmith & City Circle and District lines and it forms the northern terminus of the District line’s service to Wimbledon. The Circle and Hammersmith & City lines have the same tracks towards Baker Street to the east of the station whereas to the west, all three lines run to Paddington, but the routes to Hammersmith and the Circle and District line trains via High Street Kensington diverge at Praed Street Junction to separate stations within the Paddington complex.
