Getting To Know Euston Railway Station Of London

London has several connections to railways and tube stations for better transportation system. One of the busiest railways stations of UK that is situated in London and is managed by Network Rail is London Euston or Euston railway station. It is one of the railway terminuses of central London. While in London, you will find Euston Station having both underground and railway station. The station is also close to some of the landmark places of the city like Regent’s Park, Bloomsbury, Somers Town and Kings Cross. It is also near to St Pancras International Station for Eurostar.

The Euston Underground tube station is located on Northern and Victoria line and is operated by London Midland, First Scotrail, Virgin Trains and London Overground. You can also visit several tourist attractions by boarding a train from Euston Station to Regent’s Park and British Library. Travelling To And From Euston Station

If you are taking a car to Euston station, then the pick-up and set-down point are located below the station. Access for vehicle is available from Melton St, from where you can follow the signs to parking your cars and use the left-hand lane for that. You are not allowed to wait there. Taxis are also available from taxi rank under the station. You can either take steps from concourse or lifts located via ticket office.

The bus stop is located just in front of the station, and there are bus stops on Eversholt St. If you have a map, you can also use that for information about the station and from where you can board a bus or taxi and reach BEST WESTERN PLUS Park Grand London Heathrow from the station.

Facilities Available At The Station

The Euston Station provides several facilities for the passengers. You can get tickets to board train either from ticket window available at platform number 8-11 that is run by London Midland or at ticket machines at the same location that is operated by London Midland or Virgin Trains.

You can also enjoy basic amenities at the station like toilets and baby changing rooms both of which is located at top of ramp that leads to platform 1 to 3. The toilets are accessible and come free with Radar card, and if you do not have one then, you can take help from the mobility assistance reception. Showers are only available in first class lounge of Virgin.

Apart from these, the station also has waiting room by platform 16 with seating arrangements. You will also get a first class lounge with bars, food courts, showers, and many other amenities. If you have excess luggage then, you can leave it at the Excess Baggage counter, and you also have the option to pre-book the facility as well. Photo booths and paid Wi-Fi is also available right at the station to carry out various work.
