Nearest station to St Paul’s Cathedral

About the Cathedral

An Anglican cathedral -  St Paul’s Cathedral, London, sits at the top of Ludgate Hill, the highest point in the City of London. It is dedicated to Paul the Apostle and its rich history dates back to the original church on this site, founded in AD 604.Guests will also see the wooden model of the Cathedral. The model was what that Christopher Wren used to display his design of the building King Charles II.

Getting there

The nearest station to St. Paul’s Cathedral is the St. Paul’s stop, serviced by the District and Central lines. The cheapest way to use the London Transport system is to buy a one day London travel card or -Oyster card. You can buy an Oyster card for £10 and for each journey you travel the amount is deducted from your card.  The Oyster card is a weekly season ticket that allows you to travel across all the underground trainlines and buses.
