The inaugural movie slated for screening is Pickups with Jamie Thraves as the director. It features Aiden Gillen (Game of Thrones) in the role of an insomniac going through the throes of an embittered marriage. Movie buffs are in for an eclectic mix of movies all week long.

Underbelly Festival: This is the 10th anniversary of the Underbelly Festival back at the South Bank. It is a combination of two of the biggest festivals in town the London Wonderground and Udderbelly. Whatever your taste there is plenty of entertainment for all including kids’ shows, comedy, cabaret and circus. The fabulous entertainment is even more enjoyable with a diverse array of street food and plenty of booze.
London Marathon: One of the most awaited annual events, the annual London Marathon is scheduled to be held on 22 April. If you are a sports enthusiast this is one event to head to town to watch the race. Those looking to watch the finish could plan a picnic at St James Park and await the runners to arrive at the finishing point in the area.

London Coffee Festival: Coffee lovers can rejoice with the return of the London Coffee Festival in April. It is the biggest coffee and food event in the country. The festival is a celebration of London’s enduring love for the brew with an amazing variety of coffee brands, food and speciality teas. Those keen on learning about latte art can educate themselves at the special workshops and seminars hosted during the event.
